Join us on Tuesday, November 24th for ABN's Fall Business Networking Event, at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, at 6:30pm.  

 

We are excited to feature Dr. Garo H. Armen as the Guest Speaker.  Dr. Armen is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Agenus, a publicly held immunology company and the Founder and Chairman of the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), an organization dedicated to implementing  programs to improve and advance all aspects of life for children living in rural villages of Armenia. COAF's most recent program is the creation of "Smart Centers" to facilitate the rapid expansion of COAF programs throughout Armenia and beyond.

Dr. Armen also served as the Executive Chairman of the troubled bio-pharmaceutical company, Elan Corporation,  which he successfully restructured.  He currently serves on the boards of Protagenic Therapeutic - a biotechnology company and ScrollMotion - a company that develops applications for emerging technologies.   Dr. Armen is the recipient of numerous humanitarian awards, including the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his humanitarian efforts in Armenia as well as his exceptional contributions to American society.  

 

We are grateful to Mr. Nelson Stepanian and the hospitality Team at the Renaissance Hotel for hosting our event at this wonderful venue. The Renaissance will be providing appetizers, creations of James Beard award-winning Chefs Mr. Mark Gaier and Mr. Clark Frasier - pioneers of farm-to-table dining.  A cash bar will be available for your convenience and to enjoy a cheer with friends during the holiday week. There is ample meter parking available in the vicinity, and area garages.  In addition, the hotel has a discounted valet parking rate of $17 for 5 hours, for ABN event attendees, with validation at the Registration Desk.

ABN Membership is not a requirement for attending this event and there is no entrance fee.  Please feel free to extend this invitation to your Armenian contacts in the New England area.
