The active component in Modalert 200, modafinil, has a half-life of around 12 to 15 hours, which means that although its effects fade off considerably more quickly, it can remain in your system for up to 3–4 days. Depending on liver function, age, metabolism, and dose, the majority of the medication is removed in two to three days. For many days following usage, residues of Modalert 200 may still be found in blood or urine testing, even though it encourages wakefulness for 10 to 15 hours.
